Hi PTO blog fans,
Last nights meeting was very interesting.  We began with an annoucement of a budget open house meeting that all are invited to by the Superintendendants office.  The first meeting is this evening at 6:30 at Central Office and the next one is February 26th from 6-8 at the Montessori Academy on Scio Street.  I am saving the email I recevied so if there are any questions, please feel free to call me at 259-5981 or email questions to csrpto@gmail.com for details.

Lauren Payne and Regina Neri from Stake Building group came and proposed some ideas to assist the PTO with creating more interest and getting more families to attend meetings.  Some of these ideas include providing families with more inforamtion on PTO at events such as the upcoming Open House in March, inviting incoming Kindergarten families to attend a meeting closer to the end of the year as well as the end of the year picnic and they also helped us with some fundraising ideas. 

Mr. Piper shared the plans for changes that will be happening to our school that will begin in the 2015 school year.  I have included a copy of the blue print so you can see the changes.  Mr. Piper will keep us  informed as to the details as he recevies them.  Right now the blueprints creates more questions than they answer.

The meeting ended with an update on the budget.

The next meeting dates through the end of the year are set for March 11th, April 15th, May 13th and June 10th, all from 6:30 - 7:30pm.  Typically pizza and child care are available.  We are trying to coordinate March's meeting with a meeting of the Facilities work group to discuss the upcoming changes to the school so the time for that meeting may be subject to change.
